Find Your Ring Size

Measure the circumference of your finger:

  1. Take a soft, non-elastic string or a strip of paper.
  2. Wrap the string or strip around the base of the finger you want to measure the circumference of. Ensure that the string or strip is evenly wrapped, but not so tight that it cuts into the skin.
  3. Mark where the ends of the string or strip meet with a pen or pencil.
  4. Remove the string or strip from the finger and measure the length from the starting point to the mark with a ruler in millimeters (mm). This is the circumference of your finger.

Convert the circumference to diameter:

  1. Use the formula to convert the circumference to diameter. The formula is: Circumference / π (pi) = Diameter.
  2. Use the value you obtained for the circumference and divide it by pi (π). Pi is a mathematical constant approximately equal to 3.14.
  3. The result you get is the diameter of your finger in millimeters (mm).

Example:

Following the instructions, I measure the circumference of my finger to be 65mm. Then, I calculate the diameter using the formula above, 65 / π = 20.69. Now that I have the diameter of my finger, I just need to round to the nearest available size (we recommend rounding down). In this case, I get the size 20mm. Now I know my ring size and can order a ring in a size 20mm. The sizes we use range from 14mm to 25mm."
